Thanks to Ed Mello for this info: Station 5 is the closest fire station to the Pentagon.....thus the use of the Pentagon Shape of the previous (blue) patch and the center of the "Big Nickel" patch. Why "Big Nickel?" It comes from the 5 sides of the Pentagon.
