Just a bit of history on this patch.
My late husband, Dennis Westbrook, was the 1st official Fire Chief in Diamondhead. I designed this patch in 1985. The emblem in the center of the white circle was the logo the original developers had created in recognition of the Hawaiian Diamond Head volcanoes. The community is now a city, however the Diamondhead Protection Fire District remains an independent governmental agency.
